The 2026 National Student Survey (NSS) results show that Warwick Economics finalists remain highly satisfied with their undergraduate experience, with Teaching and Learning Resources receiving the highest satisfaction scores.

This year鈥檚 survey, conducted between February and April, achieved a strong 81% response rate, five percentage points higher than 2025. The NSS invites undergraduate finalists across the UK to reflect on the quality of their courses through 28 questions grouped into seven areas: Teaching; Learning Opportunities; Academic Support; Learning Resources; Assessment & Feedback; Organisation & Management; and Student Voice.

Strong performance across key areas

Warwick Economics continues to perform well across the survey, with particularly high scores in the the following areas (indicating the percentage of respondents who agreed or strongly agreed with each question from that area):

• Learning Resources: 93%
• Organisation and Management: 92%
• Teaching on my Course: 91%
• Academic Support: 91%
• Student Voice: 86%

The Department鈥檚 position within the Russell Group remains strong. Warwick Economics ranks:

• 1st for Assessment and Feedback (83%)
• 2nd for Student Voice (87%)
• 4th for Teaching (91%), Learning Opportunities (86%), and Organisation & Management (92%)

High ratings on individual questions

Students rated the Department particularly highly on individual questions (with the percentages indicating students who agreed or strongly agreed with each question), including:

• How good are teaching staff at explaining things? (95%)
• How often is the course intellectually stimulating? (95%)
• How well does your course introduce subjects and skills in a way that builds on what you have already learned? (91%)
• How often have you received assessment feedback on time? (93%)
• How easy was it to contact teaching staff when you needed to? (92%)
• How well have teaching staff supported your learning? (91%)
• How well organised is your course? (92%)
• How well have the IT resources and facilities supported your learning? (93%)
• How easy is it to access subject specific resources when you need them? (93%)
