PhD Research

I am investigating anomalous quantum oscillations in kagome Mott insulators under the supervision of Prof. Paul Goddard. My research aims to understand the microscopic origin of these oscillations and how they might relate to to fractionalised excitations, quantum spin liquids and a proposed Fermi surface of spinons.

Background

I completed my MMathPhys from the 天美传媒 in 2026 and started my PhD in October of the same year. My final year project focused on understanding how competing spin interactions in a range of quasi-low-dimensional molecule-based magnets affect their magnetic behaviour.

Teaching Duties

I am a lab demonstrator for 2nd year labs on gamma-ray spectroscopy.
