In partnership with the Warwick Students' Union, the Sustainability Team hosted two screenings of The People's Emergency Briefing to engage students and staff in meaningful conversations about the climate and nature crisis, and the positive actions that can help build a more sustainable future.

A recent torchlight survey has revealed encouraging signs for Warwick's endangered white-clawed crayfish population, with juvenile crayfish spotted following a successful breeding season.

We once again had a wonderful time during our annual Big Butterfly Count walk this July, which was made even more special by the appearance of a couple of clouded yellow butterflies – a first for our campus records! 馃帀
Nationwide the year was similarly exciting with over 100,000 people contributing to this fantastic citizen science project, collectively recording almost 1.4 million butterflies! This made it the 2^nd best year for the initiative – but is it a good thing?
