Applications for the URSS 2027Link opens in a new window projects will open on 5 October. Please note, we cannot accept any applications submitted after the deadline on Friday 5 February. Applications outcome will be communicated in March 2027.
How to fill in the application form
The online URSS 2027 applicationLink opens in a new window opens on Monday 5 October. You must have the support of a Warwick academic who has agreed to supervise your project before you apply.
As part of your application, you will need to provide a clear description of your research project that can be easily understood by a non-expert reader, as well as a detailed breakdown of the costs associated with your project.
The application is completed in two stages. First, you must complete and submit your section of the application, including your supervisor鈥檚 contact details. Once you have submitted your form, your supervisor will need to complete the Supervisor鈥檚 formLink opens in a new window to support your application.

Upload your bank details to eVision
Don鈥檛 forget to upload your bank details to the eVision system before you submit your URSS application. We need this information so that we can pay your bursary to you if you are successful.
- Go to www.warwick.ac.uk/evisionLink opens in a new window
- Click on 鈥楳y Student Finance鈥� on the top bar
- Click on 鈥楶roviding your bank details鈥�
- Click on 鈥楥ollecting Bank Details for Payments to Students鈥�
- Go through the process, selecting 鈥�UG payments (departmental awards for undergraduate students only, including URSS)鈥� from the drop down list
- When you have entered your details, please remember to select the 鈥榲alidate鈥� button before submitting.
Please note you can only submit bank details for UK bank accounts via our online system. If you don鈥檛 have a UK bank account, please contact urss@warwick.ac.uk before you submit your application.
