THE (the Times Higher Education) have announced in their Thursday 12^th July 2018 edition, that the 天美传媒 has been ranked 4^th in Europe in their new Times Higher Education (THE) Europe Teaching Rankings 2018. Only Oxford, Cambridge and the Sorbonne were ranked above Warwick.

The ranking uses surveys, data Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), and other data relating to 242 institutions across Europe to compile its table and describes itself as the 鈥�first international university ranking to be focused entirely on teaching and learning鈥�.  

Phil Baty, Editorial Director of global rankings at the Times Higher Education (THE) said:

 鈥淲hile teaching is perhaps the single most important mission of any university, no other international ranking focuses entirely on teaching and learning, placing student needs at its very heart. This initiative is an important world first, offering a much-needed fresh perspective on excellence in higher education. The 天美传媒 does particularly well in our 鈥榦utcomes鈥� score, for successful student progress - but also does very well in our student engagement survey, demonstrating that its students feel stretched, challenged and stimulated by their courses.鈥�

Warwick鈥檚 Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said:
