While there is obviously a great deal of variability in how university league tables are calculated, particularly in the international tables, Warwick鈥檚 Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Thrift welcomed the consistent, and significant, rise of Warwick across all three of the recent league tables. He said :
鈥淭he key factors underpinning our rise in the league table are a strong research performance and a growing global reputation. Clearly this must reflect the success of Warwick鈥檚 Strategy, first launched in 2007, with its focus on high quality research and teaching, embedding internationalism into every area of the University, enhancing economic growth, and making continuous institutional innovations. It is the work of the Warwick staff and students that underpins that success.鈥
