Bi-annual Research Days are hosted across the EUTOPIA Alliance, where researchers gather around a common research area to build networks, share their expertise, and develop early ideas for collaborative projects.

Thematic Focus: This event brought together researchers from across the EUTOPIA alliance and a range of disciplines to address global challenges around Health and Wellbeing, foster new collaborations, and identify opportunities for future joint initiatives in the areas of:

• AI systems and mental wellbeing
• Health & Food
• Heritage, Place and Wellbeing: Cultural dimensions of health
• Women's health

Programme & Activities:
The programme combined interactive workshops, knowledge exchange, and collaboration planning activities. Participants explored shared research experts and potential impact through thematic Impact CANVAS workshops, learned from Horizon Europe funding and project management experts, and worked together to develop roadmaps for future collaboration.

Thematic Focus: This edition was focus on the theme of Water, with discussions structured around four panels:

• Water Heritage and Sustainability
• Water and Climate Change
• Blue Economy

Thematic Focus: Regulatable AI

Led by Professor Long Tran-Thanh, Chair of Digital, Data Science & AI Research Spotlight, this edition of EUTOPIA Research Days brought together 26 researchers and 13 research officers from 10 European and 2 global partner universities, to foster collaboration, exchange innovative ideas, and explore new research frontiers in the area of Regulatable AI.

Programme & Activities:
Engaging Discussions: Participants presented the status of Artificial Intelligence research at their university, sparking new ideas and perspectives.

Collaborative Workshops: Interactive sessions allowed for close collaboration and development of future research plans.

Networking Opportunities: The event facilitated meaningful connections and potential collaborations among a diverse group of experts.
