Students should select their preferred Venice Short Course module(s) as an optional module on the module selection form. Students must read the History Module Information page and check their course syllabus before completing the form.

History students can take up to 2 Venice Short Course modules each year. The History modules in Venice are taught back-to-back to allow students to study two of these modules.

Students can withdraw from Venice Short Course History modules via the module swap process until 3 October 2025.

After this point, you will need to contact the History Office for information on how to change your module registration.

Yes, although students on the Venice programme cannot study HI2H2-15 Venice in the Renaissance as a Venice Short Course module because the content overlaps with HI3G9-30 Venice in the Renaissance, which is the core final year module for students on the Venice programme.
