Early Modern Forum
The Early Modern Forum, supported by an AHRC network grant, aims to establish an international network of scholars working on all aspects of early modern studies. Our formal network encompasses centres of early modern expertise at Warwick, the Sorbonne, Vanderbilt, Boston, The Huntington Library, University of Southern California and Yale. However, we welcome scholars from other institutions. Through running a combination of physical conferences / workshops and online events we aim to encourage discussion between both members of staff and postgraduate students, who will be able to pursue research themes and discussions with colleagues who might be physically remote from, but intellectually close to, them. Currently, the network is largely Anglophone. However, in future we intend to expand to include a wider range of European partners and to organise events in several languages. In a way, then, this bilingual (French & English) workshop, run at Warwick and centring on two buoyant strands of current research, represents the beginnings of a new strand to the Early Modern Forum鈥檚 activities.
Jusqu鈥櫭 pr茅sent, le r茅seau s鈥檈st av茅r茅 majoritairement anglophone.
