Temporary traffic and pedestrian restrictions on Library Road and Lord Bhattacharyya Way from Monday 7th October 2024 - Friday 28th February 2025

From Monday 7th October, there will be 3-way temporary traffic lights and a partial closure of the service and delivery bays on Library Road and Lord Bhattacharyya Way for essential road trenching. Accessible bays, service bays and pedestrian pathways will be temporarily closed during these phases, with alternative provisions in place. Please click on this news item for further information.

Closure of the Milking Parlour car park: Wednesday 20th November

Closure of the Kirby Corner car park access road link on Lord Bhattacharyya Way: 30th September 2024 - 4th October 2024

From Monday 30th September - 4th October, the link road from Lord Bhattacharyya Way to the Kirby Corner car park will be closed for essential works. Alternative access to the Kirby Corner car park is available through Gibbet Hill Road or Kirby Corner Road.

Temporary restricted access to Library Road & IMC Concourse

From 7am Tuesday 17th September, access to Library Road, IMC Concourse and the surrounding areas will be restricted for up to 6 hours due to the placement of a MEWP for equipment removal from the external IMC bridge. Delivery vehicles and blue badge holders will still be able to access the area by coordinating with the contractor onsite.
