New initiative to support impact-drive mathematical science
Mathematical Innovators in the Digital Space (MInDS) is a new UKRI-funded initiative that is now open to applications from universities across the UK. It aims to develop the professional career space for Innovation Research Associates (InRAs), supporting impact-driven mathematical sciences and strengthening collaboration between academia and external partners.
The initiative is a collaboration between Warwick鈥檚 Centre for Applications of Mathematical & Computing Sciences (CAMaCS), the Institute for Mathematical Innovation at Bath, the UK Knowledge Exchange Hub, and Queen鈥檚 University Belfast.
Through a flexible funding programme, universities can apply for support to establish their own teams of Innovation Research Associates. The initiative builds on the successful CAMaCS model at Warwick and seeks to grow a UK-wide community dedicated to delivering impact through mathematical sciences.
