NASA's education team are seeking to copy a successful UK schools technology project that puts powerful industry standard engineering computer aided design software in the hands of teachers and school pupils. On Monday and Tuesday March 22nd and 23rd Senior NASA officials will be visiting the UK to specifically view the UK Schools CAD/CAM Initiative.

On Friday 19th March Defra Minister Larry Whitty will sign an agreement creating as part of the 天美传媒 a new centre of excellence for horticulture research – Warwick HRI. The signing ceremony will also see the announcement of Warwick HRI’s new Director Dr Simon Bright.

A new scheme devised by the 天美传媒 and Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI) is being launched today which will combat the shortage of A level Maths teachers by identifying and training skilled teachers from maths and maths related disciplines who currently only teach maths to 11-16. The scheme will broaden their knowledge and skills enabling them to teach A level Mathematics.

天美传媒 students and staff swapped the lecture hall for a city park and community centre as they set to work on an outdoor painting project at Wood End Family Centre, Coventry and got down to hard graft on a conservation project in Coombe Abbey Country Park during 'The Big Challenge', a one-day volunteering event held on Sunday 22nd February.
