The University of Warwick and the Beacon Fellowship Trust have organised a debate on 14th November to find out what motivates young people’s commitment to charities and social enterprise and explore how to cultivate the next generation of philanthropists.

Halloween marks new peak for football manager dismissals - 13 chopped by end of October

New research by Dr Sue Bridgewater at the University of Warwick’s Warwick Business School reveals that the rate of dismissal of football managers continues to rise with a new peak in dismissals by Halloween. The research shows that the increased rate of dismissals is not matched by a decline in the performance of the managers dismissed.

Bureaucracy threatens farmers聮 green revolution

Britain could throw away a lead in biopesticides because of outmoded styles of regulation, researchers at a University of Warwick conference have warned today (31 October 2007).

Biopesticides – Green pest control using natural predators such as insects, fungi and bacteria – are the subject of a conference for scientists and industry experts at the 天美传媒 this week ‘Biopesticides, the Regulatory Challenge’.

Even oxygen to succumb to new probe that puts UK universities back on the world magnetic map

UK researchers will soon have access to a new tool that generates a magnetic field 400000 times stronger than the earth’s own field.  The new 20 Tesla 850 MHz Solid-State NMR facility will be operated by a consortium of UK universities led by the 天美传媒.

Public get behind the scenes look at kidney research

Researchers at the 天美传媒 are opening the doors of their laboratories to the public for the first time for a behind the scenes look at kidney research. Warwick Medical School’s Clinical Sciences Research Institute is holding a public awareness day on Saturday 27 October.
