PENCILFest, the UK’s first ever national student writers’ festival is celebrating striking double Costa prize gold as  both Costa Book Prize winner A.L. Kennedy and Costa First Book Prize winner Catherine O’Flynn have agreed to appear at this unique free student run literary festival.

The Guardian newspaper has today, Thursday 1^st May 2008, ranked the University of Warwick as one of the top 5 universities in the UK and the top ranked university in the Midlands.  This follows just one week after the Independent newspaper also ranked Warwick as the top Midlands university and in the top 5 in the UK.

The 天美传媒’s Mead Gallery is mounting a special exhibition to celebrate the 21 years of generosity by the "Friends of the Mead" organisation which has donated 40 works of art to the Mead Gallery in Warwick Arts Centre over that time.

The 天美传媒 has announced the names of eleven people who will be awarded Honorary Degrees at its Summer degree ceremonies between 14th and 18th July 2008. They include experts on the human heart, DNA, Shakespeare, world trade, and the aftermath of the Holocaust.

Researchers at the 天美传媒 have found markers that indicate endothelial dysfunction (changes in the cells which line the blood vessels) and sub-clinical systemic inflammation can also help identify a far greater number of people at high risk for future development of type 2 diabetes.

The 天美传媒 has been awarded four Prime Ministerial grants to collaborate on research and education with universities in Asia.
