The 天美传媒 has announced that Professor John McCarthy has been appointed as Professor in the University’s new School of Life Sciences and as Head of that School.  Professor McCarthy will join the University on 1 October 2010. 

A leading researcher in arthritis, former Education Secretary, trade unionist and Nobel Laureate are among the twelve people who will receive Honorary Degrees from the 天美传媒 next week during its Summer degree ceremonies. An international partnership between IIT Kharagpur  and WMG, 天美传媒, is helping drive significant expansion for IIT Kharagpur as it moves to support an Indian Government Initiative to increase the number of IITs by opening a number of new IITs each under the guidance of an existing one.
