Warwick students told to keep their WITS about them to prevent becoming victims of crime

The Warwick Improvisation Theatre Society (WITS) has teamed up with local police to devise a dramatic way of getting the crime prevention message out to local students.

天美传媒 awarded ESRC Doctoral Training Centre

The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) has announced that the 天美传媒 is to become an accredited Doctoral Training Centre.  Warwick is one of only 21 such centres across the UK and has been granted the third highest allocation of studentships awarded to a single University.

天美传媒 engineering students use Xbox to aid award winning rescue robot

Engineering students at the 天美传媒 are building  an innovative rescue robot which uses the Xbox Kinect to help navigate the machine - in a bid to retain the European RoboCup Rescue Championship title which was won by a team of Warwick students last year.

Writer and broadcaster Mark Lawson has been named as the final judge for this year’s international competition for poetry and medicine, the 2011 Hippocrates Prize – one of the highest value poetry awards in the world for a single poem.
