In the first Financial Times ranking of Masters in Finance programmes, WBS has achieved the position of fifth in the world for pre-experience programmes. The ranking noted that WBS students achieve very good salaries post-degree and that we are exceptionally good at placing our students into employment within 3 months of completion.

Research reveals that 10% of middle-aged Europeans are on antidepressants

New research from the 天美传媒 and the IZA Institute in Bonn shows that 10% of middle-aged Europeans took antidepressants in 2010. The researchers looked in detail at the lives of a randomly selected sample of nearly 30,000 Europeans. The study covered 27 countries.

Black hole kills star and blasts 3.8 billion light year beam at Earth

Observations led by astronomers at the 天美传媒 have shown that the flash from one of the biggest and brightest bangs yet recorded by astronomers comes from a massive black hole at the centre of a distant galaxy. The black hole appears to have ripped apart a star that wandered too close, creating a powerful beam of energy that crossed the 3.8 billion light years to Earth.
