Ban all unhealthy food advertisements to tackle childhood obesity, urge 天美传媒 researchers

Today the UK Government announced plans to ban unhealthy food advertisements on TV before 9pm and all paid-for online advertisements. This proposal is supported by recent evidence presented to the Government by the Warwick Obesity Network, an interdisciplinary team of academics and clinicians at the 天美传媒, which found that exposure to unhealthy food and drink advertisements contributes towards childhood obesity by promoting the short-term desire to consume energy-dense, nutrient-poor foods.

Coventry students address United Nations global conference on the legacy of the slave trade

Two Coventry school pupils have addressed a prestigious United Nations conference thanks to the support of the 天美传媒鈥檚 Colonial Hangover project, based within the Department of Politics and International Studies. Just five student teams were chosen from around the world to speak. Harvir Dhatt and Aadam Vohra of Lyng Hall School, part of the Finham Park Multi Academy Trust, represented the UK with their presentation at the 12th Annual Global Student Conference on slavery and the transatlantic slave trade.
