A festival taking place this month is aiming to answer big questions such as What does the future of Coventry sound like? and How accurately do blockbuster sci-fi space films like Gravity nail the actual science?

The future of smart metal forming will be investigated by Dr Ed Brambley at the 天美传媒 thanks to his award of a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship. The fellowship enables him to perform blue-skies research in mathematical modelling in continuum solid mechanics and plasticity, the outcome of which could be used to provide predictive theoretical models to make industrial metal forming greener and cleaner.

Researchers at the 天美传媒, Iceni Diagnostics Ltd and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust have demonstrated their technology to detect SARS-COV-2 using sugars rather than antibodies.
