The award recognises Engineering’s long-term strategic efforts to embed inclusive practices, support underrepresented groups, and build a diverse, fair academic environment.

The Foundation Year, designed to provide a pathway for students from under-recognised backgrounds into higher education, has become a cornerstone of °Âµþ³§â€™s commitment to diversity and widening participation.

The centre is funded by Warwick, University College Birmingham, and education charity IntoUniversity.
