Rethinking development through more relational, embodied, and dialogic research

A new article, "Dining in the dialogical, listening through the relational: 鈥榳ithness-thinking鈥 for development scholarship and praxis", has been published in Globalizations by PAIS PhD Candidate Raymond Hyma and food researcher Dr Elaine Pratley. The piece explores their respective approaches of listening-based inquiry and food-as-method in peacebuilding and development research.

Through a collaborative autoethnographic exploration, the authors argue that shifting from thinking 鈥榓bout鈥 to thinking 鈥榳ith鈥 participants and partners can help address the increasingly blurred line between scholarship and praxis.
