PAIS PhD Project Receives WIE Collaboration and Co-production Award
PAIS PhD candidate Raymond Hyma and his community research partners in Cambodia and Thailand have been awarded a Collaboration and Co-production grant from the Warwick Institute of Engagement (WIE) to build on two years of collaborative research as conflict between the two countries has unfolded.
The project will create space for Cambodian and Thai partners to continue meeting in a third country while researching how cross-border partnerships can be sustained between people on opposing sides of an ongoing conflict. It will also strengthen their emerging network, Peace Developer, which brings together young people from Cambodia and Thailand to engage in dialogue, maintain relationships across borders, and seek common ground as tensions persist at the national level.
