Haokai Xie
I am a second-year PhD student in Statistics at the 天美传媒, supervised by Professor . My research interests lie in probability theory and related areas. Currently, I study the stability of ergodic Markov processes, particularly on obtaining the exact convergence rate to their stationary measures.
Prior to joining Warwick, I completed my Master's thesis, entitled 鈥淲hat can be recovered from the order of a random process鈥 increments鈥, under the supervision of Professor at the University of Melbourne. This work investigated the extension of a for recovering the Brownian component of L茅vy processes using only the rank of increments from observed sample paths.
In the 2025/26 academic year, I am participating in and giving presentations at reading groups on , Malliavin Calculus and Markov chains: cutoff phenomenon.
