India
Named Core Account Executive, Databricks
Describe your current role and what attracted you to it.
In this role, I partner with a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, helping organisations unlock the value of their data and AI capabilities through our platform. I鈥檝e always been drawn to roles at the intersection of technology and people, and Databricks sits right at the heart of one of the most exciting shifts in enterprise tech today: the move towards AI and data intelligence at scale. What really pulled me in was the opportunity to work with forward-thinking companies to solve complex business problems. After years in sales across various tech startups and high-growth businesses like ThoughtSpot, I wanted to focus on strategic accounts where I could build long-term partnerships and drive meaningful outcomes.
What are the key skills you learnt at Warwick that have helped you with your career to date?
My MSc in Business Management provided a strong analytical foundation. The ability to assess a market, understand competitive dynamics, and build a compelling business case are all skills that were sharpened at Warwick and have been invaluable throughout my career. Beyond academics, Warwick taught me how to collaborate across different cultures, which is essential when managing global markets and complex stakeholder relationships. My time as a Warwick Volunteer also reinforced the importance of giving back and investing in people.
Did you have a specific career path in mind when you chose to study at Warwick?
I didn't have a linear path mapped out, but I knew I wanted to work at the crossroads of business and science, which drew me to the MSc in Business Management with Biotechnology and Bioprocessing. With a background in Biotech from Bangalore University, I was curious about applying those principles to innovation-led industries. Warwick gave me the confidence and the commercial toolkit to pivot into technology. The best part of the experience was that it opened doors I hadn鈥檛 even imagined at the time.
